Campus Ministry

As a Catholic school, our faith is central to everything we do—in the classroom, on the ball fields, in the community, and in celebrations. MH - MA students partake of a vibrant spiritual life through prayer, retreats, liturgies, serving others, pro-life activities, and Christian community building.

Living the Catholic Faith in All We Do and Say

It starts with prayer. We provide students with daily opportunities to experience the faith life. Here are some facts about our campus ministry as well as our regularly scheduled spiritual activities:

  • Sponsored by our actively involved Benedictine communities here in Atchison and recognized by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
  • Students enroll in a religion course each year. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops provides curriculum guidance for these courses.
  • All-school Mass every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and on Holy Days of Obligations. Optional daily Mass.
  • Confessions once a month
  • First Friday Adoration
  • All-school Stations of the Cross and Penance service during Lent
  • Sunday Evening LifeTeen Mass - we welcome all
  • Sunday Youth Ministry Nights after Mass
  • Wednesday Morning Guys and Girls Groups
