Endowment

The earnings, interest, and dividends of Maur Hill - Mount Academy’s Endowment Fund are an important source of revenue, helping to underwrite a percentage of the school’s operating and capital budgets each year.

Valued at $5 million, our Endowment is composed of both unrestricted funds (to be used where most needed) and funds restricted for specific purposes, such as scholarships. The invested principal of the Endowment grows through current gifts of cash and appreciated securities, through deferred and estate gifts, and through the reinvestment of earnings to provide for inflation. The growth of our Endowment is vital to MH - MA’s long-term financial stability.

Endowed gifts are also a wonderful naming opportunity for a loved one. The minimum gift amount to endow a student scholarship or faculty position is $15,000.
